GCAP Announces Launch of HFA-1 Program: Creating 1,000 Affordable Housing Units for Toronto Resident

Press Release:

The Global Covid Alliance Partner (GCAP) is proud to announce the launch of our first Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project — the HFA-1 program. The HFA-1 aims to provide 1,000 affordable housing units in the city of Toronto.

In the report from the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), we see an urgent need: Canada needs to build 3.5 million new homes by 2030 to meet the housing needs of everyone. For many Canadians, affordable housing has become an elusive dream. To address this issue, GCAP has launched the HFA-1 program.

GCAP plays the role of a convener, promoter, political-business relations consultant, and financier in the HFA-1 program. Our goal is to bring together governments, businesses, and communities in a PPP model to create a more equitable and sustainable housing environment.

We cordially invite construction developers, investors, and community non-profit organizations to join our HFA-1 project and collectively create more affordable housing for the residents of Toronto. We also welcome anyone interested in this project to follow our website for more information about the HFA-1 program.

GCAP's mission is to address global challenges through action. We believe that through our collective efforts, we can find a solution to the housing issue in Canada.
